How to become a member of SALC
To become a member of SALC, please visit the SALC website and click on 'Membership'. The membership fee is 300 SEK for faculty and 200 SEK for students. The payment can be done either (1) via bank transfer, or (2) in cash at the registration desk of the conference. In case of a bank transfer, please bring with you a proof of payment. Please note that it is only the SALC membership fee that can be paid in cash and not the conference fee itself.
Students are required to present a proof of their student status at the registration desk of the conference.
The Organising Committee of SALC6 will award a prize to a Master's or Doctoral student who delivers the best oral presentation of the conference. We encourage all students to sign up!
The conference dinner will take place in Bryggan Kök & Café on Friday, 21 April. The dinner includes a 3-course menu, coffee and both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. There will be a surprise performance at the dinner!
A number of scholarships will be available for students who are SALC members and whose abstracts have been accepted to SALC6. In order to apply, the applicant must send an email with max. 1 page stating their research project, and why they need the grant. They may also include their CV and a reference from senior academic staff. The email should be sent to both mila.vulchanovantnuno and email@example.com no later than 15 January 2017 and the subject of the email should be "Grant application SALC6".
