The Lund phonetics team is happy to invite all interested researchers and students to the 26th annual meeting of phoneticians in and around Sweden. 

The conference will be held on site in Lund on 8-10 June 2026 from noon to noon (exact times will be published along with the program).

Please spread the information about the conference and this website to potentially interested colleagues and students!

Important dates

Preliminary registration is due to March 1st 2026: Please register HERE if you already plan to participate and let us know whether you intend to contribute with a presentation.

Definite registration is due to May 3rd 2026: Please register HERE.

Submission is due to May 3rd 2026: To submit your contribution, send the required files e-mail to fonetik2026ling.luse.

Contributions

Presentations about all topics related to phonetics are welcome. 

As last time, presentations and discussions (at least during sessions) are held in English. 

There will be opportunities to present your work as a talk, a poster, or a workshop. 

We encourage methodological presentations and/or workshops on pedagogical or scientific tools! In that case, email us on fonetik2026ling.luse about the details (What kind of presentation format would work best? What technical prerequisites (e.g. a separate room or specific equipment) would be required? etc.).

Call for papers

You can choose to submit either an abstract (up to 2 pages) or a complete paper (up to 6 pages). The template and instructions for submitting a contribution can be found here: Submissions.

Papers will be published online in the Lund University Working Papers in Linguistics series.
