Call for Abstracts

Neurolinguistics in Sweden 2023

Neurolinguistics in Sweden (NLS) is happy to announce its first conference and calls for the submission of abstracts for presentation. Neurolinguistics in Sweden is a network of researchers investigating language in the brain. The aim of the network is to promote research within the broad field of neurolinguistics in Sweden and neighbouring countries. 

We are delighted to announce that the 2023 keynote speakers will be Prof. Gina Kuperberg (Tufts University) and Dr. Laura Gwilliams (University of California San Francisco).

Location and attendance

The 2023 conference will take place at Lund University in Lund, Sweden. There will be no attendance fee.

Important dates

15 February 2023 at 11:59 pm (CET): Abstract submission deadline.

26 February 2023 at 11:59 pm (CET): Abstract submission extended deadline.

1 April 2023: Notification of acceptance.

8 May 2023: Registration deadline.

1-2 June 2023: Neurolinguistics in Sweden 2023 conference.

 

Submissions

The organising committee invites researchers to submit an abstract for presentation at Neurolinguistics in Sweden 2023. Abstracts must be no more than 1 page (10 pt, margins 2.5 cm), excluding references. It is possible to specify a preference for either a talk or poster presentation but final decisions will be made by the organising committee. The conference language is English and all presentations are to be made in English.

Submissions should be within the field of neurolinguistics. Contributions from related fields such as psycholinguistics, cognitive neuroscience, phonetics, audiology and language pathology are also welcome if the overall scope is the cognitive neuroscience of language. Abstracts are to be submitted to nls2023@sol.lu.se no later than 26 February 2023 11.59 pm(CET) and will be peer reviewed. Submissions are expected to include (preliminary) results and will be reviewed based on their novelty, substance and relevance for the conference.
