Important Notice: Book Early! 

Another major event is taking place at Lund University during the same dates as SweCog 2025, which means hotels and other accommodations will fill up quickly. We strongly recommend booking your stay as soon as possible to secure a convenient option. 

Where to Stay 

The conference will be held in Lund and there are various accommodation options available to suit different preferences and budgets.  

If you’re open to staying outside the conference city, Malmö is a great alternative. It offers a wider range of accommodations, and the train ride to the conference venue takes about 20 minutes. This can be a convenient and potentially more affordable option.  

Public Transportation in Skåne, Sweden 

Getting around is easy with Skånetrafiken app, the public transportation system covering buses and trains across the region. As Google map doesn’t always update quickly the transportation changes. We recommend always double-check with Skånekrafiken app about cancelation and delays.  

Download the Skånetrafiken app to purchase tickets, check schedules, and plan your journey in real time. Tickets can also be bought via the Skånetrafiken website (https://www.skanetrafiken.se/). 

Trains run frequently between Malmö Central station (Malmö C) and Lund Central station (Lund C), making it a reliable option for daily travel. 

Traveling to Sweden 

For international travelers, the nearest major airport is Copenhagen Airport (Kastrup, CPH) in Denmark. Direct trains from Copenhagen Airport to Lund Central station (Lund C) run frequently, taking approximately 40 minutes.

If arriving from Copenhagen, ensure you have a valid travel document for crossing into Sweden, as border checks may apply.
