About
International Symposium on Speech Processing
Speech processing comprises how we perceive the sounds that make up spoken language, how we comprehend the meaning, and how we respond to it verbally. With the recent advancements of neuroimaging techniques, the field of speech processing has taken a turn towards broader cognitive science and has growing implications for scientific and societal development. This international symposium will bring prominent scholars from different language and neuroscience labs to one place. During this one-day event, the latest developments in auditory and neurobiological aspects of speech processing will be explored and discussed in an interdisciplinary group.
