International Conference on Romance Languages – in memoriam Alf Lombard

The conference is dedicated to the memory of Professor Alf Lombard – chair of Romance languages at Lund University 1939-1969, and founding father of Romanian studies in Scandinavia. The initiative is connected with the “Alf Lombard Year” – a project initiated by the Romanian Embassy at Stockholm, the goal of which is to honour the work of this eminent scholar, 110 years after his birth.
