This paper approaches the uncertainty problem from the point of view of adaptive control. The uncertainty is reduced by continuous monitoring of the response of the system to the control actions and appropriate modifications of the control law. It is shown that this approach makes it possible to deal with uncertainties that cannot be handled by high gain robust feedback control.

This paper presents a solution to the saturation problem in cascade control schemes. When cascade control approaches work in linear mode without saturation influence, important improvements can be achieved in industrial control loops. The effect of disturbances and/or nonlinear actuator behaviours on the main process variables can be considerably reduced. However, when saturation arises in the inn

In the Multiagent Connected Path Planning problem (MCPP), a team of agents moving in a graph-represented environment must plan a set of start-goal joint paths which ensures global connectivity at each time step, under some communication model. The decision version of this problem asking for the existence of a plan that can be executed in at most a given number of steps is claimed to be NP-complete
