Registration is now closed!

Please register for SALC6 on the right hand side menu. To create an account, click on 'Register a New Participant'. Once you have created an account, you are free to log in to the system at any point in time. Before registering, we kindly ask you to read through the information below.

Registration fees

* Please note that a 25% VAT will be added to all the fees, including the conference dinner.

Early registration (15 December 2016 - 31 January 2017):

  • Faculty, not member of SALC: 1500 SEK
  • Faculty, member of SALC: 1200 SEK
  • Student, not member of SALC: 900 SEK
  • Student, member of SALC: 675 SEK

Late registration (1 February 2017 - 30 March 2017):

  • Faculty, not member of SALC: 1875 SEK
  • Faculty, member of SALC: 1500 SEK
  • Student, not member of SALC: 1125 SEK
  • Student, member of SALC: 825 SEK
Registration fees include lunches on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, all fikas*, a wine reception and a surprise performance on Thursday evening, and all conference materials. The book of abstracts will be made available in a PDF format online. * Fika is a Swedish coffee break with pastries.

How to become a member of SALC

To become a member of SALC, please visit the SALC website and click on 'Membership'. The membership fee is 300 SEK for faculty and 200 SEK for students. The payment can be done either (1) via bank transfer, or (2) in cash at the registration desk of the conference. In case of a bank transfer, please bring with you a proof of payment. Please note that it is only the SALC membership fee that can be paid in cash and not the conference fee itself.

Student discount

Students are required to present a proof of their student status at the registration desk of the conference.

Student award

The Organising Committee of SALC6 will award a prize to a Master's or Doctoral student who delivers the best oral presentation of the conference. We encourage all students to sign up!

Conference dinner

The conference dinner will take place in Bryggan Kök & Café on Friday, 21 April. The dinner includes a 3-course menu, coffee and both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. There will be a surprise performance at the dinner!

SALC scholarship

A number of scholarships will be available for students who are SALC members and whose abstracts have been accepted to SALC6. In order to apply, the applicant must send an email with max. 1 page stating their research project, and why they need the grant. They may also include their CV and a reference from senior academic staff. The email should be sent to both mila.vulchanovantnuno and burholt@hum.ku.dk no later than 15 January 2017 and the subject of the email should be "Grant application SALC6".
