Travel to Lund
By Air
The closest international airport to Lund is Copenhagen Airport (CPH) in Denmark. There are train connections between CPH Airport and Lund and the journey takes around 30 minutes on the Öresund train. Please note that tickets cannot be purchased onboard the train so you should buy the tickets in advance at the airport. This can be done from the Skånetrafiken or DSB ticket machines or at the DSB ticket office. Preferable from the Skånetrafiken ticket machines available both in the baggage area and outside the platform entrances.PS! There are temporary passport controls on the train platform at Copenhagen Airport and at the first stop on the Swedish side (Hyllie). Please make sure to have a valid passport or ID-card with you.
The closest local airport to Lund is Malmö Airport Sturup (MMX). Malmö Airport has some international flights from within Europe but is mostly a domestic airport. There are bus connections between Sturup and Lund and the journey takes around 45 minutes.
By Rail
Lund Central station is located on the main railway line from Malmö to several different destinations such as Copenhagen, Hamburg, Berlin, Oslo, Stockholm and Gothenburg. Swedish Railways (SJ) and regional rail lines serve the station.By Car
Yes, it is possible to drive to Lund:) Accessible via ferry from Germany and Poland and via the Öresund Bridge from Denmark. But avoid the city centre...Conference Venue
The conference venue is at the Faculty of Engineering Campus at Lund University, address John Ericssons väg 3. We will mainly be using two buildings facing each other – Kårhuset (the Student Union building) and V-huset (the V-building).
Accomodation
You have to arrange the lodging on your own! Though, we have made a block reservation on five hotels we have chosen to be appropriate EuroSoTL hotels. Contact the hotel of your choice via phone or email - and don't forget to mention the block code!
Make sure to arrange your accommodation as soon as possible as lodging in Lund in early June are normally very hard!!!
All our block reservations are only valid until 7 April 2017 and covers one or two nights during June 7-8th 2017. All block reservations include free breakfast and free internet.
