SI hjälper studenter att lyckas på utvalda, ofta inledande, svåra kurser. Under ett SI-pass samarbetar studenter under ledning av en äldre student. Här utvecklar studenterna strategier och en fungerande studieteknik. Europeiskt Centrum för SI-PASS samordnar SI i Europa och arbetar centralt med SI vid Lunds universitet.
