Sociodemographic Factors’ Influence on the Consumption and Assessment of COVID-19 Related Information –An International Web-Based Survey

Information flows can affect people’s apprehension of the pandemic and related behaviors. The aim is to explore how people access and assess COVID-19 information and whether sociodemographic factors are associated with these processes. Quantitative data from 928 persons from 29 countries who participated in an international web-based survey was analyzed with descriptive and analytic statistics. The Origins of the Swedish Wage Bargaining Model

This paper revisits the development of the canonical Swedish wage bargaining model, from the 1930s to the 1950s. The question at the core of the debate is: how did Sweden achieve “good” wage bargaining institutions -- good, in the sense of facilitating investment, employment, and controlled inflation? Incomes and Income Inequality in Stockholm, 1870–1970: Evidence from Micro Data

This paper analyzes incomes and income inequality in Stockholm from 1870 to 1970. The paper builds on a new dataset of 38,022 randomly sampled Stockholm residents 1870–1950, with information on income, occupation, age, gender, and household composition. This is complemented by the Census of 1930 and a Statistics Sweden sample for 1960 and 1970. Incomes were very unequally distributed between 1870

Tourism revisited : The influence of digitalisation on tourism concepts

Information and communication technology (ICT) is ubiquitous in tourism and this changes not only tourists’ immediate behaviour, but also what tourism is. In this way, digitalisation is shifting perceptions of when tourism starts and ends, and how we can understand the term in principal ways. The aim of this working paper is to contribute to the debate about the consequences of today´s fast digita

Long-term consequences of high incubation temperature in a wild bird population

Because incubation by birds is energetically costly, parents frequently trade off investment in incubation against self-maintenance. This can be manifested by a reduction in incubation temperature, which comes at high somatic costs for nestlings. The extent to which these costs constrain fitness is poorly understood. We incubated wild blue tit clutches at three biologically relevant temperatures a

Factors contributing to the perpetration of workplace incivility: the importance of organizational aspects and experiencing incivility from others

Walking as spatial mobilities : a critical investigation of walkability in transportation planning studies

In previous years, substantial research has focused on walkability, primarily examining how the built environment affects walking behavior. However, these studies have predominantly defined walkability through physical and social factors, with limited exploration of its spatial dimension.
