Staben hjälper Sektionen IT med administrativa uppgifter. Bland stabens uppgifter finns att stödja IT-direktören i arbetet med att utveckla IT vid Lunds universitet. I staben arbetar man också med IT-arkitektur för hela universitetet, och strävar efter en gemensam och sammanhållen struktur som stödjer verksamhetens behov.The Staff assists the Division of IT with administrative assignments. Its responsibilities include supporting the Chief Information Officer in the development of IT at Lund University. The Staff also works with IT architecture for the entire university, striving to create a common and cohesive structure that supports the needs of the organisation.

Det innebär att bygga både det användaren ser (design och funktioner) och det som händer bakom kulisserna (databaser och serverlogik). På så sätt kan webben bli användarvänlig, säker och tillgänglig.The group works in web development. Web development involves creating and improving websites and web services. This means building both what the user sees (design and features) and what happens behind the scenes (databases and server logic). In this way, the web can be made user-friendly, secure and accessible.
