Sepsis orsakas av en rubbad aktivering av immunsystemet om svar på mikroorganismer. Detta leder till organsvikt och i värsta fall chock med dödlighet på 40-70 %. Vi vill utveckla ny sepsisbehandling med läkemedel och dialys som tar sikte på substanser from bakterierna. I labbet studerar vi inflammatoriska svar på proteiner från streptokocker hos immunceller och blodkärl.
