Vår forskning handlar om att kartlägga de mekanismer som ligger bakom njursjukdom för att ta fram ny diagnostik och behandling för de cirka 10% av Sveriges befolkning som lider av nedsatt njurfunktion. Vi forskar också fram nya metoder för att förbättra behandlingen med så kallad peritonealdialys (bukdialys) - en form av dialysbehandling för patienter med svår njursvikt.
