Since 1986 psychiatrists and social workers of the Lund Suicide Research Center have investigated subjects admitted to the medical intensive care unit after a suicide attempt. Fifty‐nine of 79 deliberate self‐poisoners were interviewed 12 months after a suicide attempt. Twenty‐one had previously been interviewed 6 months after the index suicide attempt. We obtained minor information on 8 subjects.
We present and analyze high resolution near edge X-ray absorption fine structure (NEXAFS) spectra of CO+ at the carbon and oxygen K-edges. Beta-decay half-lives and delayed-neutron emission probabilities of the neutron-rich noble-gas isotopes 94-99Kr and 142-147Xe have been measured at the PSB-ISOLDE facility at CERN. The results are compared to QRPA shell-model predictions and are used in dynamic calculations of r-process abundances of Kr and Xe isotopes.
ForcePAD is an intuitive tool for visualising the behavior of structures subjected to loading and boundary conditions. The design of the user interface aims to be as intuitive as a standard image processing software. Users should be able to design structures, apply and boundary conditions and visualise results without knowledge of the underlying nite element model.
